Pink Lady Apple Nut Walnut Cake



Ingredients:



  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°. Line an 8" cake pan with parchment paper. Lightly spray paper with cooking spray.
  2. 2. Core and slice 1 Pink Lady apple, and place it in a fan shape on bottom of cake pan.
  3. 3. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk the sugar, butter, milk, oil, and egg together. Stir in the remaining ingredients, including the filling until batter forms. Pour batter evenly in cake pan.
  4. 4. Place the cake into the oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted and comes out clean.
  5. To make the topping:
  6. 5. Mix all ingredients are crumbly forming a streusel.
  7. 6. Remove the cake from the oven and loosen the cake from the sides of the pan. Invert the cake onto a cake plate, and remove the cake from pan. Peel off the parchment paper.
  8. 7. Evenly spread the topping over the cake and let stand for 20 minutes.
  9. Serve warm. This recipe yields 8 slices.
