Ingredients:
- 2 ½ Cups Cream Corn
- 1 Cup Whole Milk
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 ½ Cups Plain Bread Crumbs
- ½ Cups Minced Yellow Onion
- 2 Tbsp Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter
- 1. Preheat oven to 350°.
- 2. In a medium saucepan, add the creamed corn and milk. Mix well and cook over medium heat.
- 3. Stir in the onion and 1 cup of the bread crumbs. Continue to cook over medium heat and bring to a simmering boil.
- 4. Gently beat egg in a small bowl, and add it to the corn.
- 5. Remove the corn mixture from the heat and set it aside.
- 6. Pour the corn mixture into a 2-quart baking dish.
- 7. Mix the remaining bread crumbs with the butter and sprinkle it over the top of the corn.
- 8. Bake for 20 minutes or until the breadcrumbs are lightly browned.
- Serve hot. This recipe yields approximately 8 servings.
